At St Mary’s Ruthenian Catholic Church, our life of faith is Byzantine in expression from beginning to end, emphasizing the dazzling joy and infectious beauty of the Catholic faith through the captivating iconographic, musical, architectural, liturgical, and spiritual traditions of the Christian East.
We’d love for you to join us in being immersed in the joy of the Gospel!
The Eparchy of Parma, a diocese of the Ruthenian Metropolia of Pittsburgh, is in full communion with Pope Francis, the Roman Catholic Church, and the other Eastern Catholic Churches. We worship in the Orthodox tradition as received from the Carpatho-Rusyn peoples of Eastern Europe, using the Divine Liturgy of St John Chrysostom to celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Eucharist.
Any Catholic may fulfill his or her Sunday Obligation by attending our Divine Liturgy at 9am, and we welcome all people to come and join in the beauty of our worship!
We can't wait to see you at St Mary's!
